1. Bali Waterbom
Apart from the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue, the number 3 tallest statue in the world, Bali also has a giant water park covering an area of 3.8 hectares. It was awarded as the best water park in the world according to Tripadvisor Travelers Choice in 2016. Bali Waterbom also received the title of The Best Water Park in Asia in 2018 from Tripadvisor Travelers Choice.
This water park is located in Kuta and has an excellent view, like Disneyland. Not only water, but this destination also has green land, as much as 50% of the land area. There are dozens of exciting attractions such as a lazy river, 250-meter long water slide, dump bucket, water cannon, boomerang, super bowl, green viper, and many more.
2. Snowbay Jakarta
Snowbay Jakarta is located in the TMII complex area, East Jakarta. The main attraction is the setting of a snowy place in a European-style mountain area. There are lots of penguin statues and a total of 12 water rides. One of the rides is a lazy river with snowy cliffs at the top of the mountain. There is also the Moby Zone (whale-shaped children’s pool), Typhoon River (current slow pool), Spa Zone, Wave Pool, 1000 m2 pool with high waves, and many more.
3. The Jungle Water Adventure
Located in Bogor, there is The Jungle Water Adventure which is located in a beautiful hilly area with Mount Salak in the background. This family attraction is built on 3.8 hectares of land and has 12 cool water rides, such as a dump bucket, lazy river, racing slide, and wave pool.
There is also The Jungle 4D Cinema to watch short films more attractively. In 2017, The Jungle Water Adventure was included in the list of the 20 best water parks in Asia Pacific by TEA & AECOM.
4. Paradis-Q Waterpark
Paradis-Q Waterpark is one of the best in West Kalimantan, precisely in Kubu Regency. This place opened in 2016 and is now the largest in Kalimantan. The main attraction is a tropical-themed water park with three slides centred on a 15-meter-high tower.
Some of the slide models are spiral, and some are straight. There is also a kiddie pool, wave pool, lazy river, multilevel slides, dump buckets and a 25-meter-long semi-Olympic pool.
5. Ciputra Waterpark Surabaya
This water park in Surabaya carries the theme 1001 Nights. It is built on an area of 5 hectares, which is included in the list of the largest water parks in Southeast Asia. One of the favorite zones is Sinbad’s Playground which has Middle Eastern-style towers and slides. There is also a wave pool with a statue of a whale and a 15-meter extreme slide.
